Here is a quick challenge for anyone with screenshots or creativity.  Stosh has asked the community to make user avatars and user skins.  Avatars are to be 90px by 90px, while user skins are set to be 902px by 260px.  So submit your creations on the forum post at the bottom.  I will add them to this article.  Keep your creations at the highest quality, we can let Stosh resize them if he likes them.

So I haven't written a good update in a long time.  Time to make one!

 Cool Server Stuff

• The majority of people that clicked on a link from Bungie.net to get to BungieHQ just came from my Bungie.net personal messages folder.
• The number one visited directory of our site came from the forums.  The second runner up, our home page, only fell short by only several million page requests.
• The number one site that links to us is halo.top100arena.com
• 3,729,759 more requests come from bungiehq.com than www.bungiehq.com.  Epic laziness.
• When people click on links from search engines, we get the words that they used to find our site.  Here are the top 5 keywords used to get to our site.

• What is the last on the list?

• The number one browser used to visit our site is Mozilla Firefox.  If you aren't using it, you probably should.
• The number one operating system used is Windows XP.  We have gotten 18 page hits from Windows 3.1 and 8 from Windows CE.

It's important to understand that we are not HaloHQ, and whenever Bungie releases their new game, we will be changing the site around to accomidate whatever they roll out.

Youtube Videos!

I am glad to annonce the return of the youtube videos, and now anyone can have their clips showcased on youtube, but there is a catch.  Read on...

I'm not exactly doing this because I'm a nice guy, I'm doing this to help advertise the site.  So here is what you have to do to put your video on youtube.

When you go to post your video on Bungie.net, you will need to paste this code in:

If I see that on your post, I will make it into a nifty youtube video for you, otherwise I'll assume you don't want it made into a youtube video.

You may have noticed that we were offline... for 18 hours.  I originally planned to do some work to make the servers directories easier to search through.  Everything seemed to be going well, but then the URL forwarding wasn't working the way I wanted it to.  Thankfully, right before I began working on the server, I made a copy of everything.
